THE WAR AT THE CAPE.
Capetown, March 17 th. Intelligence has been received fiom Natal that the negotiations between tho Boers and Sir Evelyn Wood have had a satisfactory result. The Boer loaders have now given a general consent to the conditions of peace laid down by tho British, but have, however, reserved a few points for further consideration. March 18th. Intelligence has heen rccoivod from Natal that the armistice between the Boors and British has been prolonged to Monday, the 21st instant. London-, March 21st. The Daily News to-day publishes information from Natal rtganling the terms of peace with the Boers. These include, it is stated, an undertaking that the Boers should disperse their forces and break up their garrisons forthwith, England at the same time agreeing to continue an inquiry into >he Boeis’ demand through a Royal Commission, in order that a permanent settlement of the difficulties in Transvaal may bo arrived at.
