London, September 21st. The match against IS of Bradford commenced to-day. The Australians male 183, Boyle being top scorer with 54. The Home team in the first inniilga scored 90 runs, and being over 8) bchin 1 th ;ir opponents had to follow on. In their second in mugs they hatre scored S3 runs for three wickets. Spnfforth, Bannerman, and Slight were absent from this match -September 22nd, The match was resumed to-day. The Home team resumed their second innings, but, owing to the inclemency of the wtatbCr, play was stopped When they had put together 195 for i.lie loss of nine wickets.. 'The match was therefore drawn. September 33rd. The match against tile Nottingham County Eleven was commenced to-day. The attendance was very large. The Australians went in first to the wickets, and lost nine wickets for 141 runs. Alexander was not out for 40 ; Murdoch was caught after putting together 42. The Austra'ians being out on the above score, the Home team went to the wickets, and when the siiiihps were drawn for the day had lostono wicket for 13 runs.
