DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.

On Saturday evening last the 9th instant a public meeting was held in the Committee room of the Public Library to discuss over the affairs of the Club, and to consider as to the advisability of holding a Spring meeting. A good few persons put in an apperance, of whom Mr Sami. Welsford was voted to the Chair, After talking over affairs generally, it was arranged to re-or-ganise the Club, and a dozen gentlemen enrolled themselves as members. The election of officers was then proceeded with, and B. Naylor, Esq. was appointed President, Dr Leahy, Treasurer, and Mr George Clark, Secretary. It was decided to hold a Spring meeting, and the President, Treasurer, and Messrs Attfield and Facile were appointed Collectors. It was also decided that all subscribers of a guinea be members of the Club, The meeting then adjourned till Saturday the 23rd instant, at the same time and place, to receive the report of the Collectors.
