Sir—Having frequently of late seen locals in the Dunedin dailies with reference to the arrival of new books through the Education Board, 1 wish to know what steps have been taken to secure a portion of the same for this Library, as I understand that the neighbouring libraries have already to hand their allotted number, Subscriber. Clyde, August 14th, 1879. P.S.—Might I enquire if it is the intention of the library Committee to open the reading room for the use of the public on Sundays.
