JYE• LA W, NO.. 4Regulating the Management of Pounds and the Conduct or Poundkeepeks. 1. —lnterpretation The words “ Public Pounct ” shall mean any place established or maintained as a Pound within Vincent County by the Council thereof under the provisions of "The Counties Act, 1876." The word “ Pouudkeeper "shallmean any person who may be appointed by the County Council to have charge of such Pound. 2. —What fees and charges may be levied. The, fees and charges payable on and for cattle impounded in any Public Pound shall be as follows ; Poundage F’ecs. s. d. 6 1 For each Entire Horse above the age of 12 months „ „ Mare, Gelding. Colt, Filly, Foal, Mule, Ass, Goat or Pig „ „ Bull, above the age of 12 months „ „ Ox, Cow, Steer, Heifer or Calf, for the first ten „ „ Ditto ditto the next ten „ „ Ditto ditto the next thirty „ „ Ditto ditto above fifty ... „ „ Ram above the ago of 9 months ~ „ Ewe, Wether, or Lamb, for the first twenty ~ „ Ditto ditto the next thirty ... ~ „ Ditto ditto the next fifty „ „ Ditto ditto above one hundred The above Fees to be paid for each day, or part of a day during which the animal is kept in pound. Charges for Food. Charges lor Serving Notice. One Shilling for each mile or part of a mile between the Public Pound and the usual p'ace of residence of the owner or agent, whereat the Notice shall be served.
