THE CAMP STABLES.

(TO THE EDITOR OF THE DUNSTAN TIMES.) Sir,—ln the last issue of the Cromwell Argus a local appeared, which 1 consider reflected, not only upon the authorities, but also upon myself, and I employed the Bellman to ring throughout the town to try and find the idividual, whom the Cromwell Argus states “ they knew of one party at least who would have given double the sum had they known the property was for i a’o.” But, sir, strange to tell (though I offered a reward of L 5), no person has turned up, nor can the gentleman he found, to whom I would only be too happy to sell the “Camp Stables ” for L6O. It is well-known that the Bellman notified the sale in the usual way, and that others and myself attended, and that the bidding was spirited. I think further comment unnecessary.— I am, &c., John Marsh.
