(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq.) Alexander M ‘Lean and Others. —Application for water-race fur coal-mining purposes, at the Nevis. No appearance. Thomas Wilson applied to purchase one hundred acres or. Hun No. 221, Objected to by Messrs. M'Nally, Hastie, and party, on the-grounds of its being auriferous, and the area applied for occupying the only available outlet whereby a large piece of land could be worked. Adjourned till the 17th inst,, for the [production of further evidence.
