George Ratcliffe (Town Clerk) v. Stewart. —Claim 15s. for arrears of rates. Same v. Mason.—L3 10s. arrears of rates Judgment for plaintiff. Same v. Hastedt. L2 Iss. arrears of rates. Applications for slaughtering licenses were .granted to the following : J. R. Kemp, Grindley and Mercer, Mrs. C. Hillhouse; diaries Niepir. J. H. Mason, of the Royal Mail Hotel, applied for a temporary transfer of his general publican’s license to Henry Tohill. Granted. WARDEN’S COURT. Komp v. Kett.—This was a complaint calling upon the defendant to show cause why a water-right held by defendant should not be cancelled for hon usage. Adjourned to the 19th inst. Ah Hand and party applied for protection for ninety days, which was granted.
