Wild and Nbttlefol I, the last one eliciting an encore -each was most tastefully rendered, the blending of the two instruments at times amounting to extreme beauty of expression, while the tone through >ut was soft, artis'ic, and accurate in every note. The Duet by Mrs. Harper and Mr, Stevens, “ Peace to thy Spirit ’’ a'sn, a Trio by the "fore named and Mr. Cambridge, and a Duet by the two gent'emen, were all capitally rendered, the former especially, and each drew down the most enthusiastic cheers. Of the readings, they were of the customary character and wore we'l received - some were really excellent, that of Mr. M'Connocliie, a Scotch characteristic piece, being not only read, but acted with abilitv A dance conclu 'e l the night’s pleasure, the Band again kindly giving their valuable services.
