m mm iZM -ii;j Public Trust Office, Wcllmgton. 30th December-, 1872. n pursuance of ilic powers given by .1 the seventeenth, eighte nth, nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first sections of “ 'I he Public Trust Office Act, T872,” any person, company, association, or public body, tv it bin or ■without the Colony of New Zealand, may ] lace any property belonging to i hem in charge of the Public Trustee, upon trust, for such uses as may be defined iu the deed creating the tmst Also, tlml any Building, Laud or Friendly Society may by its rules provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Office, for such trusts and uses, end with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules Also, that any person may, by will, place his property in the Public Trust Office,- or may deposit his will therein for safe custody only. Applications to place property iu the Public Tiust Office will now be received. Such applications must be made on a form prepared for that purpose, which can be obtained at the Public Trust Office in Wellington, or at any Money Order Post Office within the Colony. The application, must describe the nature of the trust intended to be created ; but deeds and other documents relating to the property need not he sent until the acceptance of the trust has been considered by the Board. Local agents will be appointed to manage the legal and other business connected with estates, the preference being given (subject to the approval of the Public Trustee) to Solicitors or Agents who have previously had the manaaement of the property, or who ute nominated by the person placing the property iu the office, or the parties principally interested therein. TTPON the Petition of William U Eraser off Earned eugh Station in tho Province of Otago, Eunholder, a Shareholder in the above named Company on the fifteenth day of January 1873, presented to this Court, and upon hearing Mr. F. J. Wilson of Counsel lor the Petitioner, and of Mr. George Faohe of Clyde in the said Province of Otago, Auctioneer the Manager of theabovc named Company, appearing and offering no objection, and upon reading the said Petition and Affidavit of the said William Fraser verifying the same, an Affidavit of Frederick John Wilson verifying service of notice of intent to present tho said Petition and tho annexure thereto, and an Affidavit of the said George Faclu in fur ther support of the said Petition, such last named Affidavit being the other evidence required by the said Court to be adduced >in this matter. This Court doth order that the said Company be wound up under tho provisions of tho said Act, and the Court doth appoint Friday the 7th day of February, 1873 at the hour of eleven o’clock in the forenoon as the day and hour for a general Meeting of the Creditors of the above named Company to be held at the Court-house at Clyde aforesaid.
