A special, or adjourned meeting of the Stewards to the above Club was held last evening, the 30th of_Dccomber, to decide as to receiving certain nominations, which, in the opinion of some of the members, had been sent in too late The President and ten' Stewards were present, A warm, in fact angry discussion took place ; and it was eventually decided that the whole of the -entries should he received.

■ It will bo noticed from the undermentioned list that the three principal events of the meet are well filled ; and, should the owners,"accept for the flat races, the fields will be large!and the sport exciting.
