Charged with fighting in a public place. Johustou was fined £5, or one mouth's imprisonment with hard labor in Clyde gaol, and Sladen was fined in the same sum, with the alternative of fourteen days ['imprisonment. Police v. Francis Johnston. Charged with assaulting the Police in the execution of their duty. Fined CIO, or two months imprisonment, with hard labor in Clyde gaol. Police v. Roderick Noble. Drunk and disorderly. Remanded to Wednesday. Police v. Bets Drunk and disorderly. Fined £l, or twenty four hours imprisonment. September 20. James Holt v, El ward Morrissey. C.aim for £34 10s. Judgment for amount. September 21. Police v. Noble. Remanded to Duustan Hospital for medical treatment. September 23. Police v. Noble, Sentenced to three days imprisonment in Clyde gaol, with hard labor. John Halliday v. Charles Wells. Claim for £4O 8s sd. The defendant was brought up under warrant of apprehension issued under Section 17 of the Resident Magistrate’s Act, 1833, ns an absconding Oebtor. De t confessed Judgment for Plaintiff in amount claimed, with costs of Court and expenses, amounting altogether to £45 Gs 5.1. In default, committal to Clyde gaol for three calendar months. The debt not being paid, the defendant was imprisoned a cordingly.
