POLICE AND WALDEN'S COURTS. ALEXANDRA.
(Before Vincent Pyke, Esq., Warden.) April, ISth 1870. O. Wilkinson and party applied for leave to divert the course of Coal Creek, and also to construct a tail race, one nile in length. P. M'Gettiugsn, R. G. Webb aid j/ Ik Kemp objected, on the ground that by leave being granted, a monopoly of thh ground and of the water in the Creek would bo created to the detriment of the mining community generally. The Whole of the objections being hoard and argued, the Warden said he could not make the grant, and would suggest a fresh application being made to meet the objections raised It. Stancombe’s application to divert the course of Butcher’s creek—Granted. H. Crosshair's application for agricultural hind, Bald Hill Flat-Granted. Several other ppplicatious were disposed of, and the Court rose.
