* A meeting of tho Committee of the Club was held at Parks’s Hartley Arms Hotel, on Tuesday evening the Ist instant ;it nine •o’clock. Presmt, W. Fraser, Esq, Presi'dent, J. Hazlott, Esq, Vico President, and Messrs Douglas, hi Morran, Olassford, Fache, Griiidley, Smitham, A. Christophers, ■(Honorary Treasurer) and R. Barlow, (Secretary). Proposed by Mr. Christopho-a, seconded by Mr. Grindby, and Carried, that the right to occupy the Grand Stand and Booth also the Saddling Paddock, and Race Cards bo sold by Public Auction on Tues ’ay next tta Sth instant, and that Messrs ChristopftTßarlow, and Fache prepare Speeifica- ' tions, &e. Notice to be given in jthe “ Dunstan Times ”. Proposed by Mr. Smitham, seconded by Mr, Grindley, and carried, that a Telegraph Board he erected on the Race Course, op- - positc the Judge’s Stand. The President spoke as to whether it was not advisable to place obstacles on the inside of the course, so as to prevent horses training on it. Mr. Grindley sail tho - Trustees had had the inside'of the Course lovolla', and without a something was done to prevent horses galloping on it, it v ould he as had. or worse than before the taonoywas expended. The following gentlemen were appointed to canvass for subscriptions :—Messrs. Fraser and Christophers, Clyde ; Messrs. Glassford and M‘Moran, Black’s an! Drybread ; Messrs. Hazlett and Smithara, Cromwell; Messrs. Turnbull and Grindloy, Alexandra.

Atalanta, aged ; Delainaiue’s Wild Boy, five years; Barnard’s c.g. Fovetop, four years ; Smithaih’s b.g. Cromwell, five years; Dawkins’s g.xn. Nelly Gray, six years ; Hutchison’s b.m. Miss King, five years ; M‘Moran’s c.g. Spec, four years. Handicap Hurdle Race Hewitt’s b.g. Fire-eater, aged ; MeTor’s b.g. Harkaway, five years ; Devine’s c.g. A general conversation took place when it was resolved, That in future all letters, “supposed to be cither nominations, entries, or acceptances,” addressed to the Secretary, be opened in presence of the Treasurer.
The nominations Laving been handed 'o the handicappers ( Messrs. Douglass, Fraser, an 1 Grindley) the meeting closed with the customary vote of thanks to the chair.
