M.'ln tosh) ; dam, Kate, l>y Grey Champion ; grand dam by Duncan Gray. Trinee Charley, having proved himself the premier sire of Victoria, needs no comment. Kate was a first-class mare, bred in Tasmania, She took a second prize in Melbourne as a brool mare, and ' five first prizes in Kilmore. Grey Champion and Duncan Gray were the sires of the best stock ever bred in Tasmania. Highlander is now six year? old, lie was shown at Kilmore, and get the second prize—a two-year-old ; and as a three-year-old got the third prize at the National Show, Melbourne. He took several other prizes through thedistriet when travelling. He is a sure foal-getter, and his stock is equal to any bred from any other horse in the coloi v of Victoria.
