Dunstan District Hospital.

The usual Monthly meeting of the above Institution was held, on Feb. 6th. inst. Present, Mr J. D. Feraud, Vice President, anl Messrs Christopher, farter, ■'van, leek, Auckland. Ilastie and Jack. The minutes of the previous meeting was read and confirmed. Pi'oposed by Mr Jack, and seconded by Mr Ryan" That the Finance Committee' 8 report, ordering the amount of £l3O Hs 6d, be received."—Carried. Leave of absence was granted to the Maron for six weeks, in consideration of past services. The motion, standing in the name of Mr Haatie, respecting private practice by the

lesident burgeon, was carried. The Surgeon's repftrt shewed number *of patients in the Hospital to be 16 Europeans and 2 Chinese. Notice of motion was kid on the table " That tenders for supplies be advertised for six months, instead of three as formerly." Ihe meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the chair.
