Piooos-d by Councillor Marsh—" That Mr Burrows be appointed to inspect the leveling of tho Reserve in Melmare Strne." Seconded by Councillor Hetherington and carried. Proposed by Councillor Marsh—"That the C infractor for the Town-Hell he called upon to sign the contract and conditions in connection therewith.

Proposed by Councillor Whetter—"That Mr G. jjcca'uv, v>. ii., be appointed Surveyor "to the Municipality." Seconded by Councillor Kidd and carried.

I Proposed by Councillor Hetherington— "That the Town-Clerk procure a copy of the Clyde Municipal seal, together with the cost of engraving." Proposed by Ccunoillor Marsh—"That the Mayor hand over to the Inspector the Plans and Specifications of the Town-Hall." Seconded by Councillor Hetherington and carried.

The Finance Committee handed in their report ; the following accounts were ordered to bo paid :—Burns, (bellman) LI 10s ; Ziele and Co. cartage on stationery, 10s ; H. Wise, stationery L 7 10s fid ; Messrs Fergusson and Mitchell, do. L 9 lis fid : Messrs Cope and Fache, advertising, *c, LlO 12s ; Guthrie and Barr, contract, Ll2 ; Tow-Clerk's Salary, LI 5. Total L 56 14s. This closed the proceedings of the Council, the usual complimentary vote being given to the Chair the members retired.
