FREEZING COMPANY.
.-•• •..-•-.. Timaru, This,day. At the second annual meeting of tho South Canterbury Freezing and Refrigerating Company on Saturday the report of the, directors was unanimously adopted.. It contained a recommendation that the building and plant for freezing, be erected without further delay. It is probable that ordors for the machinery will be cabled Home. The company have a site of 61 acres near tho town, fronting on the railway and on the sea. They have put down a well 63 feet deep, yielding a tested supply of 120,000 gallons per day. There have been 3292 shares of £5 each taken up. -
