Hokixika, This day. A man named Frank Steele, a stockman at Hakatahi, is reported missing. His horse and dogshave returned. The weather being bad fears are entertained as to Steele's safety. A search party is now out. The Christchurch coach, due on Wednesday arrived hero last evening, having been detained by floods m the rivers and creeks. The weather is abominable. It has been raining for weeks. Shipping business is at a standstill in conscqence of the continued heavy sea and floode in the river.
