The Canterbury men concluded their second innings, and brought the total up to 291, leaving Auckland 151 runs to get to win. At tho luncheon adjournment Auckland had lost three wickets for 68 runs.
[by cable.] Melbourne, Saturday. At the intercolonial cricket match to-day the Victorians concluded their first innings with a total of 420 runs, of which Scott contributed 114. Tho visitors then commenced their second innings, and were all disposed of for 143 runs. The match will be resumed on Monday, when the home team commence their second innings, requiring 139 runs to win tho match.
