RACING INTELLIGENCE.

Should to-morrow bo fine, of which I think there is no doubt, I expect to sco a large muster of the sporting public at the Waipawa County Racing Club meeting at Kaikora, as there is every likelihood of there being some first-rate racing, as most of the events are very open. Tho first race of the day will be tho Handicap Hurdle Race, for which three horses will start, Loch Lomond, Doubtful, and Blackhcath. I shall place them in the order named. The next race is the W.C.R.C. Handicap. This should be a very open race, but should Pungawcrewere take it into her head to go straight and honest I expect she will be the first to catch the judge's eye, with Radamcs or Yankeo second, and Lubra well up. For the Maiden Plato there are four horses entered, but as Breeze will have a 71b penalty to carry, and is also engaged in the next race, which is of greater value, and for which he .should have a very good say, I hardly expect to see him start for the Maiden," which should leave this race almost a certainty for Radames, with Daybreak second.

The Railway Handicap is the next race, for which there aro seven horses engaged. This .should bo a slashing race between Breeze, Pungawcrewere, Yankee, and Loch Lomond, all having a big say in it. I shall place them Breeze first, Loch Lomond second, Pungawcrewere third. I need hardly say that Mr Cohen will be up there with his totalisator, and that tho stewards are doing all that they possibly can to make this meeting a successful one, and enjoyable to the public.
