RIFLE ASSOCIATION COMPETITION.

Dunedin, This day,

Tho Otago Rillc Association's meeting, which has lasted over three days, ended on Saturday. The p?ize for the highest aggregate scorer in four matches was won by Volunteer Sontag, of the Waikari Rifles, with a total of 322, the next highest being 315. Sontag took first prize in the first match and second in the third match. The competition between the teams of five from various companies for the ladies' shield resulted in tho Clutha Rifles team winning. Volunteer Johnston of the team made the grand score of 05 out of a possible 105, and Volunteer M'Carthy of the City Guards team made 04 ; 02 was the highest score made in any previous year.
