! Cheistctiuecu, This day. The directors of the Southern Cross Petroleum Company report that the new boiler has reached the works, and that the second bore -will be started immediately. It has been founel necessary to order a further supply of pipes for use in tho first bore, those which last arrived being unsuitable for tho special purpose requireel. The description was incorrectly telegrapheel, and some delay must still ensue before drilling can be resumed at the original bore.
