CONFLAGRATIONS.
Auckland, This day. The extensive out-building, including stables, barn, cow sheds, together with a lot of farm implements, on Mr Muir Douglas's estate, Briarlcy, Tamahcrc, have been totally destroyed by fire. The residence escaped. The" buildings Avere insured in Mr Thine's, tho lessor's name, but Mr Douglas's property was totally uninsured. Incendiarism is suspected. Invekcakgill, This day. A house has been burned down on Collie's farm, Groper's Bush. The insurance is £100, but tho office is not known.
Dawson's store at Pukcraru was destroyed by fire last night. A good deal of the stock Avas saA-cd. The insurances are £hho iv the Ncav Zealand office, and a similar amount in the South British office.
A destructive fire occurred at AA r yndham this morning. The buildings destroyed were D. Milne's Farmer's Arms Hotel (with hall attached), and J. Rankin's store. The firo broke out in the hall, and so gave time to save a large quantity of furniture from the hotel. Rankin's stock Avas insured for £200 in the New Zealand oflice, and for £000 in the South British office, and Milne's furniture for £300 in the Ncav Zealand office.
