ENQUIRY INTO LOSS OF THE ALMA
Auckland, This day
An official enquiry was held yesterday into the loss of the Alma, before the Collector of Customs and Captain Eraser, Nautical Assessor. The evidence of the captain, mate, cook, and others of tho crew were taken. The enquiry was concluded, but from the nature of the evidence it has been determined to have an official enquiry before a Nautical Court, if possible.
