FIRE AT GISBORNE.

The premises of Mr Dinorr, produce merchant, in Gladstone road, were last night completely destroyed by fire. It was a great conflagration, and caused much excitement, consequent upon the dangers that surrounded tho other premises. Through the exertions of the members of the defunct Fire Brigade, and the members of the Borough Council, police, and others, the fire was confined to the building destroyed. It was orignally insured for £250 in tho North British office, but Mr Dinorr allowed the policy of £500 to lapse a few days ago. Mr Clayson, confectioner, is a loser of about ".£2OO, uninsured, through
damage to his goods and stock on removal from the adjacent premises.
