Poultry Show now open in Messrs Hoadley, Lyon and Co.'s stores, Emerson street. "Second exhibition of the '' Ocean to Ocean" Panorama at the Town Hall, Hastings, at 8 to-niglt. Mr Lyndon sells oranges, bananas, tea, hams and bacon at his mart at noon tomorrow. Mr Monteith sells horses, harness, oats, onions, potatoes, and hams and bacon, at the Horse Bazaar at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow. Messrs AVood and Co. sell furniture, clothing, and miscellaneous goods by aucr tion at their store at Hastings at 2 p.m. to-morrow. Tenders for re-forming about 70 chains of road commencing near Captain Russell's plantation gate and running towards Omahu received at Hawke's Bay County Council office up to noon to-morrow. Professor Lichtwark the horse tamer, will instruct pupils at Hastings on Monday, and on Tuesday will form a class at the Horse Bazaar. The share list of Nelson Bros, (limited) Company closes on AVcdnesday next. Mr John Orr, merchant, Por Ahuriri, has coal always on hand. A bay marc is impounded at Hastings, and, unless redeemed, will be sold on Friday, August 17. Messrs Snialc and AVcstlake's business as carters and contractors will be carried on by Mr Smale. Mr Alexander Browne, Hastings-street, is still offering drapery and clothing at cost price. The finder of a £20 note, lost last night, will be rewarded on returning same to Mrs Troy. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " AVanted "
