They have met Avith Avarm support, resolutions condemning the East Coast line, and advocating one to the West Coast being adopted cveryAvherc, except at Kaiajioi, Avhere a motion moved by Mr Isaac "Wilson, M.H.R. for the district, Avas carried iv favor of expending £180,000 in the construction of the Avcstern railway to a point available for the proposed AVest Coast railway, and also in favor of carrying a line to tho AVest Coast by a northerly" direction. On Tuesday Mr AVilsou's proposition was rejected at Rangiora, and the League's resolution agreed to.
