Invercargill, This day. The Supreme Court was opened to-day. Judge AVilliams, in his chargo to the Grand Jury, dealt principally with tho Masscy case, an outline of which he gave, and concluded by saying that the question for the jury was—Did the male prisoner, having the debentures in his custody for tho purpose of exchanging them, sell them through the female prisoner and appropriate the proceeds r John Gardiner, for larceny, was sentenced to six months imprisonment with hard labor.
