RE-LEASING NATIVE RESERVES.

Hawera, This day. At the re-leasing of native reserves of 70 sections, comprising 7590 acres, at upset rents ranging from 2s to 15s per acre, 43 were tendered for yesterday, comprising 4190 acres, at rents ranging from 2s Id to 21s per acre, and for which 101 tenders were lodged, in some cases thero being six or seven for a particular section. There still remain 27 sections, comprising 3400 acres, which are now open for application at the upset rental fixed, upon the applicant complying with the regulations. In consequence of .the severe weather on Sunday night and yesterday some persons were prevented coming to town who intended tendering-.
