All the new Ministers have now been reelected to Parliament. Mr Gillies, the Minister of Railways, in his speech on Saturday night, stated that, of the sum of £2,600,u00 allotted from the last loan for railways, only ilooO, 000 will remain available for the construction of the proposed new lines amounting , to 800 miles.
