The Egyptian "Win , Exhibition will bo open for six more nights at the Theatre Royal at reduced prices of admission. The exhibition opens fro"i 2 to 4, and from 7 to 10 p.m. Mr Monteith sells 50.000 feet sawn timber by auction at Glendinning's yards, near Napier railway station, at 12. -JO p.m. tomorrow. Tenders for the construction of one discharging - punt for the Napier Harbor Board will be received up till noon to-morrow. Consignees of goods having claims against the ship G-arciock at Wellington must render same to Messrs "Wardrop and Co., her agents, by noon to-morrow, or ■lhey will not be recognised. On Thursday Messrs Banner and Liddlo will sell on the premises Hastings-street, lot No. 10 of Napier town section No. f>62, with four-roomed cottage, kv,., thereon, and also the furniture and effects. The paid-up capital of the Union Insurance Company is C 87,500. The "Great Bonanza"' Club consultation on the Melbourne Cup of 1SS:? is now open, by which a fortune o( £1000 for Is can be obtained. Messrs Langlcy snd Newman's cabinet making, undertaking and general house furnishing warehouse, Emerson-street, is the cheapest house in the trade. Accommodation for three young ladies can be obtained on applying to XYZ., office of this paper. The Clive Road Board has passed a resolution dividing the district into wards to be called the Clive, Tuki Tuki, a/nd Pakowhai wards, the new Board consisting of seven members, and it is proposed to confirm the said resolution at a. meeting of the Board to be held on Wednesday, April 25, when a petition in favor of the above will also be considered. Accounts against Messrs Groomc and Co., of Hawkestone, Puketnpu, must bo sent in on or before the 31st instant. Simonsen's English Opera Company, numbering fifty performers, opens an opera season of twelve subscription nights in the Theatre Royal on Saturday evening. Terms of subscription and other particulars are announced. Mr Symons, pianoforte tuner, is prepared to tune and repair pianos and organs, and orders left at Mr Jacobs', Hastings street, will receive attention. Five cases of Blythe's clothing have arrived to-day direct from the manufacturer at Ipswich, England. Mr T. R. Cooper invites tenders for additions to the residence of Mr Lascclles, Shakespeare road. St. John's school-room being engaged tomorrow evening, the choral practice will be held at Percy House, Tennyson street, instead. The annual meeting of the Ladies' Benevolent Society of Havelock, Hastings, and Clive, will be held in the vestry of St. Luke's Church, Havelock, on Thursday afternoon. Mr Rymer runs a coach from Newton's corner at 10 a.m. to-morrow for the convenience of persons wishing to attend the native /in/:a. At Mr Monteith's cattle sale at Hastings on Wednesday 330 sheep (mixed lots) will be offered for sale. Plans of the properties at Woodville, to be sold by auction by Messrs Hoadley, Lyon and Co. on the 28th instant, can be had on application. The terms of purchase arc one quarter cash, and balance in two years bearing 8 percent, interest. Kepler's extract of malt, a substitute for cod liver oil, can be procured at the Apothecaries Hall.
