VALUABLE WOOL SHED DESTROYED BY FIRE.

Dunedix, This day

The wool shed of the Kaikorai factory, owned by Messrs Ross and Glendinning, was destroyed by fire at G o'clock this morning. The fire broke out in the store, which contained a large quantity of wool, and which was totally destroyed. The insurance on the building and stock is —National office, £3000 ; Royal, £1000 ; New Zealand, £3000. The loss is considerably above the insurance, as a largo supply of wool had just been taken to the factory, and was uninsured.
