At the Fancy Fair in the Theatre tonight a number of negro melodies will bo sung. A special train for the Fair will leave Hastings to-morrow evening at 6.30, calling at intermediate stations, and returning afc 10 o'clock. The fourth half-yearly meeting of the Hawke's Bay District, A.0.F., will be held in the Heretaunga Court room at Hastings this evening at 7.30. Coaches to convey delegates and visitors leave the Criterion Hotel at 5.30. A bay gelding will be sold at the Taradale pound to-morrow if not previously redeemed. Messrs Banner and Liddle's next skin sale will take place on Wednesday, November 8, early entries for which are requested. The Education Board want an assistant mistress for the Norsewood school.
