October 18

A man named George Ingram fell over a cliff on to the sea-beach, near St. Andrew's railway station yesterday. He sustained very severe internal injuries, and wae brought into the hospital, where he now lies. At a special meeting of the Borough Council, it has been resolved to take tbe necessary steps for raising a loan of £15,000 for drainage purposes, the maximum interest to be 7 per |cent. per annum.
