On Saturday afternoon Joseph Snelling was seriously injured by a fall of earth at the WakeSeld brick works, Opawa. He died yesterday evening. The Amateur Athletic Club's sports, which commenced on Saturday, will be continued to-day. The boating season was opened at Lyttelton on Saturday.
