Mr Wason addressed the electors of the Wakauui district at Rakaia last night, and received a vote of confidence.
At Christ's College sports yesterday the challenge cud for the greatest number of points was won by W. P. Studbolme.
It is reported here that Colonel Lyon and Colonel Packe suggested to the Lyttelton Naval Brigade that it should volunteer for service at Paribaka, but the latter did not think the inducements offered were good enough, and refused.
