AUCKLAND.

Two burglaries have been committed in Hobson-street this week. This crime, which was formerly unknown in the city, is becoming common.
Letters and telegrams of condolence re President Garfield continue to pour in on the American Consul, who is surprised at the interest and sympathy of the people of New Zealand for his country.
