ALEXANDRIA.
September 2. In consequence of the serious discontent which recently manifested itself in the Egyptian army, and in view of the possibility of disturbances occurring, E. B. Malet, 0.8., Bitish Minister at Cairo, has sent a mission to the Sultan asking that Turkish troops and war vessels should be despatched to this country in the event of an outbreak occurring.
