An important intimation was made known at yesterday's meeting of the Land Board—that is, that a scheme is on foot by the Education Commissioners for the sale of the large education reserves «a this province, thus finding the proceeds for education purposes. This means the opening of a vast extent of land for settlement.

In Moritzon's case to-day the Judge made an intimation that he would reserve for the Appeal Court the point whether the evidence ehowed the commission of a technical offence of embezzlement.
