April 21. Bice Foulkes, butcher, of Christchurch, has been missing for several days.
At the settling on the great autumn meetiDg the following amounts were paid over :-J. Chaffe, £57 ; Sir H. Robinson, £508 ; H. Dower, £431 : Hon, W. Robinson, £119 ; Bell, £10; G. £137; W. Walters, £134; G. Batts, £38 ; total, £1.438. A volunteer fancy fair, organised with the view of paying the outstending liabilities on the review last year, was opened yesterday, and was very successful.
