The brigantine Flirt brings Fiji newß to January B.—Two labourers who arrived from the Solomons at Levuka have been identified by Ward, a survivor of the massacre on board the Borealis, as having been on board on that occasion. —A European has been barborously murdered at Veibose. Atlan, the victim of this outrage, having pulled the tappa, or head-dress, from off a chief, was immediately struck down with an axe by the offended turaga, and killed on the spot.—The Fiji Gazette strongly opposes the subsidy to a line of steamers between New Zealand and Fiji.
