The profits of tbe Colonial Bank for the half-year amount to £13,862, which, with the balance from the previous halfyear makes a total of £15,836 divisible, Of this the directors recommend the carrying of £1000 to the reserve fund, which then stands at £28,000 ; the payment of a six per cent dividend, absorbing £11,900, and carrying forward £1,943. At Mr Donald Reid's wool sale yesterday several lots of greasy fetched the highest prices yet obtained in the local market. They brought from 9|d to 12|d per lb ; washed, 15d to 19d ; and scoured 19fd.
At the heads, Pabala, barque, from London, and Canterbury, ship from Glasgow.
