NURSES AND DOCTORS

Relax At Annual Dance

Sisters and staff nurses of the Wellington Hospital were able to forget their professional duties for a while last night when they held their annual dance in Roseland Cabaret. The dance committee had little more than a week in which to make the necessary arrangements, but the gathering was one of the most successful to be held and there were more than 150 people present. Specially invited were the medical superintendent, Dr. Cairney, the lady superintendent, Miss B. Clark, and the matron of the Hutt Hospital, Miss Armstrong. Many house surgeons also accepted the nurses’ invitation to attend.
