MANPOWER BREACHES
Manpower cases heard before Air. Harley. SAI., in the Magistrates’ Court, Wellington, on Friday, were dealt with as follows:— , . , Nola Doreen Watson, 18, hairdresser, was convicted and discharged for failing to register for work of national importance. Bernard James Davis, 19. contractor, was lined £1 and costs for failing to take up employment with Beadle Jones and Jones, Ltd., to which he had been directed by the district manpower officer. Mr. J. A. Scott appeared for Davis.
