PROMOTION FOR MR. W. W. MAWHINNEY. MR. CHARLES GALBRAITH APPOINTED MANAGER FOR N.Z. Mr. W. W. Mawhinney, Manager for NerV Zealand, of Massey-Harris-Co. Ltd. for the past six years, has received notification of his promotion t<s the very important position of Export Sales Manager of Massey-Harris Co. Ltd. with headquarters at Toronto, Canada. Before returning to Canada, Mr. Mawhinney will make an extended tour of several of the Company’s Export Branches. In the course of his new duties, it is anticipated he will visit New Zealand from, time to time. It is recognized that New Zealand primary production is of paramount importance at the present time, and Massey-Harris Company Ltd. realize there is a great future for advanced farm equipment in this country, hence it will be their policy to have a representative from headquarters visit the Dominion occasionally in order to keep in close touch with requirements here. Mr. Majvhinney, on the eve of his departure from this country, wishes to express his deep appreciation and sincere thanks to Clients and trading houses for their support of and cooperation with him and his Company during his period of management, and he wishes one and all success and prosperity in the future. Mr. Mawhinney is being succeeded as Manager for New Zealand by Mr. Chas. Galbraith, previously Supervisor of the British Columbia Branch at Vancouver of the Massey-Harris Organization. Mr. Galbraith lias had a lifetime experience in the implement business, liaying been associated with Massey-Harris Co" Ltd. in Great Britain. Ireland. Canada and New Zealand. He has been in this country now for the past three months, during which time he has intensively toured the Dominion with a view to becoming acquainted with local problems. Mr. Galbraith is a World War veteran. having served in France with the Imperial Forces from 1914 till the end of the war—l’.B.A.
