TWO PLAY READINGS
Two humorous play readings were given by members at tlie Victoria League utternoon tea gathering in \\ ellingtou yesterday before a crowded audience. 1 liej were arranged by Mrs p. J .Davies.assisted by Mrs. L. O. H. li'PP- p taking part were Mesdames A. Bat nett, Hugh McGill, A. A. Cramond and Douglas Foster. Mrs. W. Veitch gave recitations and the president, Mrs. J. A. Doctor, read extracts from a letter from a league member in London, Miss Gwenda Noriuau Jones.
