Under the direction of Mrs. FlSouth Makara, a successful childrens party was held in the local hall in aid of the Junior Red Cross ‘.ovel attractive costumes ot the chii diea Cltated from austerity sources revealed the adaptable and inventive minds ot -hosresuonsible. The awards went to Mauriec Bn lev (Camouflage), and to Rosalie Bai]ey (leaves). On behalf o the Junior Red Cross, the secretary, Gladys N.-l-sen, thanked Mrs. Fitzgerald and all who had so willingly and •euerousl.V assistid in making the ’t’he profits amounted to 444/10/-. mis Fitzgerald paid all expenses.
