MOPPING UP IN CORSICA
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 6. A French communique broadcast by Algiers radio states: “After the liberation of Corsica, French troops are carrying out mopping-up operations. The captured booty is being counted in spite of time-bombs and booby-traps. Several hundreds of Germans have been captured.”
