Fete At Silverstream In spite of adverse weather, the attcndiftice at the Home of Compassion fete nt Silverstream on (Saturday was outstandingly good. The gathering had to be held in the home building, which was filled to capacity. The Sisters wish to thank all friends and supporters who travelled to Silverstream and were responsible for the success of the event. The substantial sum raised will greatly contribute toward the proposed new building fund on which it is hoped a start can be made as soon as the men and materials are available. In view of the increasing demand by the aged and infirm this. extension has become an absolute necessity; The public are asked to watch the paper for the results of competitions which will be drawn and advertised this week.
